Pastor's Page

My name is Tim Wall and I am from Walkertown, NC.  I did not have the privilege to grow up in church.  I never really even attended church until I was 17 years old.  I worked for a grocery store and one of my coworkers kept urging me to come to church with him.  On June 15, 1997 I finally went to church with him on a Sunday evening.  That night I heard a clear presentation of the gospel and accepted Christ as my savior.  The Lord saved me that night and started a new work in me that changed my life. 

I suddenly had the urge to read my Bible, pray, attend church, and witness to my family and friends.  I had never done any of this, but the Lord put new desires in my heart.  Two months later the Lord called me to preach.  After completing high school, I enrolled at Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, NC.  While earning my Bachelors of Theology, I had the opportunity to come to Cheney, WA to help a pastor start a church in 2001.  The Lord really burdened my soul for the state of Washington.  I knew he wanted me to come back here.  The next summer I came back and helped that missionary for 6 weeks and surveyed the state.

The Lord put Colfax, WA on my heart.  From that moment, everything has been about coming to Colfax to start the church.  This is God’s will for my family and we are so happy to be here!

I have also completed my Masters in Ministry from Crown College in Powell, TN and my Doctorate's Degree in Theology from Macedonia Baptist College Midland, NC.  I have a heart for the people here and am ready to help.  If you have a need, a prayer request, or just want someone to talk to, I would be happy to be of service.  It would be my privilege to talk with you and help you in any way I can.  Feel free to drop me an email at pastor@macedoniaindependentbaptist.com
